I am pleased to announce that Gerard has won the Almighty King of Rock at MTV2.com with a whopping 63% of the votes.
Also according to Market Wire the release date of the album is being confirmed as October 24th. [source]

And for anyone who cares, Jakalope was friggin’ awesome and Katie B and Dave are so nice and down to earth musicians 
I even got Katie to sign an autograph card for me personally <3 <3 <3
EDIT: Also I have researched a bit and found some new tour dates for MCR over to the right there. Notably added were the New York State Fair and the Voodoo Music Experience.

I am sure if you know anything about MCR’s recent album you have heard about The Black Parade. Well after all the conspiracy theories finally something has come out about this. The Black Parade is going to be MCR’s new single from their upcoming album, and the video will be directed by Sam Bayer. [sources: chemicalromance MVWire]
EDIT: Okay there are still some conspiracies running around and apparently The Black Parade is mentioned in some magazines as being a new band, so now we are back to square one. [sources: chemicalromance]

Sorry for not updating much this week, but I have been busy with procuring myself a ‘life’. I have seen in the past week, A.F.I. and Three Days Grace (both of which you should check out) and tomorrow I am going to see Jakalope (you also should check out). <3 <3
Anyways, back to the Ray news. From his myspace we now have a date for the new album’s release, September 26, 2006. No name yet, but atleast a date is something

ETA July 30.06: There is another date running around the internet that the release date of the new album will be October 24, 2006. Either way the new album will be out before winter
