Well let me say first off thank you dad for getting that one package with our cable provider so I could watch MTV Canada. Second, the performance was lovely and I really started squeeing when I was watching the opening sequence (and I hope it appears in the future DVD they release).
I honestly loved the song, most think it was too muted for a first release/debut, but if you listen to the words then you understand why they released it. Also, I do not know if it was really “Welcome to The Black Parade” and instead believe it was “Father” they performed (if based lyrically alone). Am I wrong? Only MCR and their management can tell me otherwise (until the new album is released), so if you are reading this and know the truth and are legit please feel free to comment here or email me, or send your legal team after me for creating this fansite. I swear to plead insanity and then ask for your autograph after the hearing and sentencing

Just a heads up (if you did not already know), My Chemical Romance will be performing at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show where they will debuting their new single “Welcome to The Black Parade” (which is honestly just pure love, I feel something deep inside me push to be free and join the procession when I hear this track). You didn’t need to know that I just felt like sharing and hope I didn’t creep you all out, or turn you away from the fro-movement.
Also, the guys will be performing at MTV’s $2 Bill which sold out in 24 minutes
So look forward to watching the performance on TV and cross your fingers that they broadcast it here on MTV Canada for me to watch. So that I can pet the tv, replenish and increase all the Ray/fro goodness that I have in my heart.
Lastly, check out The Black Parade official site for the interview video that the guys did after the Hammersmith Palais show in London on the 22nd of August. It features the opening of “Welcome to The Black Parade”
Also, I am probably going to be making a new layout in the near future, if there is any specific image you might want me to consider or possibly a theme you would like to see then feel free to comment here or email me at admin@ray-toro.com.

Yes you read that title right, at the Reading Festival (today, earlier today for the UK) while performing our boys were pelted with bottles from the crowd for no real apparent reason other than to cause a stir like the earlier Panic! at the Disco bottling incident.
Now I am not here to give the loyal MCR fans heck, but to those who threw the bottles, shame on you. Honestly, someone could have been hurt, some innocent bystander who had nothing to do with anything. Forget that anyone could have been hurt including those in the crowd, and any of the bands, crew, security, etc. You really should just grow up. [source: New Music Express]

Oh yes that is right, My Chemical Romance has won the Kerrang! 2006 Award for Best Band on the Planet. Congrats to the guys, as well they won the poll over at Rock Sound Magazine for Most Anticipated Album.

That rhymed and I really did not mean for it to do so, I swear!
MCR played London’s Hammersmith Palais last night, and according to a fan (skeeelll) there MCR were unable to perform but sent their very good friends, The Black Parade to perform in their place… Well it seems that MCR is pulling a David Bowie and have created their own Ziggy Stardust, costumes and all. For shots of the boys playing last night please visit this page to view the boys sporting their new uniforms. Can I just say that I love the jackets (and have been in love with the style since I was very young and watched Leiji Matsumoto’s Galaxy Express 999) and check out Gerard’s beaten boots, very vintage

Their next gig is in Edinburgh, and then the Leeds/Reading Festival shortly after.
Check out The Black Parade Official Site for a new teaser video as well as pre-order the new album while you are here. For more on the guys please head to your local bookstore and pick up this month’s issue of Alternative Press and the upcoming issue of Kerrang! as they have articles in each about the new album. Or you can visit the gallery and see the articles there. *winkwink*
