Just a heads up that I am still here and yesterday I was able to get some magazines and I will be scanning them in later today, they include Kerrang! issues #1139, 1141, and Klassic and OutBurn. I have the infamous Kerrang! issue #1142 on order since we here in Canada get Kerrang! a week or so late.
(and unless someone from the UK wants to send me a subscription form by post or Kerrang! decides to allow the use of PayPal for payment I will not be getting it any sooner)

*points at title* Yeah I have a screwed up sense of humour, if you do not like it well then stop reading the post titles
Before I forget I finally posted my review of ‘The Black Parade’ over at my media review log. Head on over to check it out <3
Okay let’s run down the news of the week first off, Frank did not play in Japan as he had his wisdom teeth removed and became ill after the surgery, he is confirmed to be joining the tour in Australia, but no guarantees on New Zealand.
This week’s Kerrang! (Issue 1142) features a 12-page article on My Chemical Romance from their beginnings to the present. Check it out in your local bookstore, magazine shop, etc.
*waggles eyebrows at Kerrang! to send her a subscription…. waggles eyebrows at NME, Rock Sound, Blender as well*
Gerard Way has admitted to Kerrang! that he is single and has been since shortly after recording ‘Famous Last Words’ [ image . source ]
Gerard Way, Reveals the Agonizing Break-Up that shaped “The Black Parade
This is not something I’ve ever told anyone else. I had been in a long-term relationship and it fell apart during the making of The Black Parade. I’m alone right now, for the first time in 10 years. That’s not something people know about me. It’s really hard. I’ve had girlfriends since I was 17 or 18. Now I’m 29
It wasn’t something that anybody did. It was a six year relationship that ended. It was practically marriage. It was with someone who knew me before the band. Halfway through recording-literally just when I had finished tracking the vocal parts and chorus line to Famous Last Words- I realized that line (‘I am not afraid to walk this world alone’) was the truth. I broke up with her a week later.
I had to fly back and talk to her, move my stuff out. It was brutal.
But I’ve been enjoying being free and not having to make phone calls. It’s a good feeling at first -but then you check into a hotel room and realize there’s no one who misses you like a girlfriend misses you. I’ll sit there and stare at the wall.
When we were on our last European run I would just go out at night and walk around alone, thinking, ‘Well this is interesting….’

Well I here to announce the addition of five new affiliates, three of which are top affiliates. Please welcome This Awkward Silence, MCRBR, My Chemical History, Demented Visions, and Hopelessly Hopeful.
Please vote for My Chem in the NME awards, just a note that you will have to register to vote (just like in the real world.)
Also, just note that I am still here and updating, there is just no real big Ray news at this moment. (Also note that I am aware of the ‘Krista’ situation and until Ray comes out and says ‘this is my girlfriend, whatever, etc’. It will not be added to the site since I am trying to make this a fansite full of facts, rather than just rumours
)
In the meantime here is some older MCR news:
A MESSAGE ABOUT THE JIMMY KIMMEL PERFORMANCE
A note from the people behind the scenes at Jimmy Kimmel Live:
“Unfortunately, due to a production error, the rehearsal footage for “My Chemical Romance” aired on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night in lieu of their proper performance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the band or their fans. Please tune in on Monday, January 15th when their actual performance will be broadcast — complete with fireworks.”
SEE THE CORRECT VERSION OF MCR’S KIMMEL SHOW
Watch the CORRECT version of MCR’s New Year’s Eve performance that the Jimmy Kimmel show did not air (they aired the rehearsal by mistake instead). This version will air on January 15th! Click here to check it out.
SEE THE PREMIERE OF THE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘FAMOUS LAST WORDS’ TODAY
My Chemical Romance’s new video for “Famous Last Words” is having its official US premiere today, Thursday the 11th, on MTV! You can catch an early taste of it today on TRL, which airs between 3:30 and 4:30 (all time zones) and then at 11:00pm in regular programming (all time zones).

Well first off let me just say bravo Jimmy Kimmel staff, you silly people who aired MCR’s sound check that featured Ray’s guitar not working at all resulting in himself and a techie trying to fix it all song long while Gerard kept checking on them and not singing lines and Bob, Frank and Mikey rocking out and having a ball otherwise laughing and smiling. Thanks to istya from the chemicalromance community on livejournal for mentioning that according to the MCRmy General, the Jimmy Kimmel show aired to wrong performance.
Now if you will follow these following links you will be able to watch the performances of Dead! and Famous Last Words from that evening. I highly recommend Dead! since Ray is all over the place, so much so he is on Frank’s side singing beside him
