Hello friends… Here is the official video for our new single “The Kids From Yesterday” . This will be the last single released from our album Danger Days, and we decided what better song to end on than our collective favorite. This song means a lot of different things to us individually and we hope it speaks to you as well. When deciding what kind of video would work the best with the song we immediately thought of a “video collage” …something that would show the progression of the band over the past 10 years leading up to one of our most memorable moments, closing the Reading and Leeds festivals this past summer. We began collecting footage and literally stumbled upon an incredible video done by a talented young lady named Emily Eisemann. She had made a fan video, put it up on YouTube and it summed up what we had been trying so very hard to make, perfectly. So we gave her a call, put our videos together, and the rest, as they say, is history.
With the facts that Frank had announce on My Chemical Romance’s website, they have found a temporary drummer. Please welcome Jarrod Alexander to My Chemical Romance! They will continue on the rest of the Honda Civic Tour with him.
Though this is not relative to Ray’s immense quality or presence, it has affected him, and the whole of this band. Michael Pedicone will no longer be a part of My Chemical Romance’s touring, and the band has expressed “The relationship between My Chemical Romance and Michael Pedicone is over.” Please read Frank’s post on the My Chemical Romance webpage.
My Chemical Romance have revealed details of their long-awaited fourth album.
As has been speculated, the album will be titled ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’ and released later this autumn.
The band have posted a teaser trailer at Mychemicalromance.com. The Tarantino-style clip sees the band listening to a pirate radio broadcast and dressed in biker gear, with Gerard Way sporting bright red hair.
The clip then goes on to flash slogans “Art is the weapon / against life as a symptom / defend yourself / the aftermath is secondary”.
The album was planned for release earlier in the year, with tracks previewed including ‘Bullet Proof Heart’ and ‘Black Dragon Fighting Society’. Way had promised a “stripped down” new direction, but the band went back to work on the record again following the departure of Bob Bryar.
I just found out about this today, and just wow. I cannot believe this has happened. Bob, I love you and know you are an amazing drummer, person, and friend. I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors and you will be missed!
One chapter ends and another begins…

Hello Friends,
Recently it seems as though every time we write to you guys we have bad news, and we apologize for that, but we’ve learned in life you can’t have the sweet without the sour. As a band we have been very fortunate over the years that our sweet times have greatly outweighed the sour ones, and a great deal of that is owed to you, the fans. Which is why we wanted this news to come from us and not some bullshit gossip site.
As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same.
We also wanted to give you all a quick heads up on how the record is progressing. We have been writing some very powerful new songs so this week the four of us entered the studio once again, and what has been ending up on tape each night is some of the most exciting and honest work we have ever created.
We hope this letter finds you well, we miss you…
talk to you soon,
xo MCR
