Yes you read right, My Chemical Romance will be appearing live on the Album Chart Show on the evening of October 9th. The Album Chart Show is Channel 4′s new and exciting music show and MCR have the honours of being one of the first groups to appear on the show.
If you are signed up the the MCR UK Mailing List you might have received this email and you can enter yourself into a draw to win a pair of tickets to the performance. (Travel and accommodations not included.) For the rest of us non-UKers we must sit back and wait for the guys to come to North America (and then the non-USAers like myself will have to wait until they come up to Canada and hopefully close to my own home so we can see them live.)
*USAers and UKers are not real words, they are just used instead of writing non-UK residents

I am only popping in here to post that our boys will be appearing on Spike TV’s Scream Awards 2006. They shall be performing “Welcome to The Black Parade” and here is the except from the official Scream Awards site:
We love any band that can write a kick-ass song called “You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison”; we’re proud to present a live performance of “Black Parade” – the new single from My Chemical Romance’s new album.
The 2006 Scream Awards are broadcast on October 10th at 10PM on Spike TV.

Next, regarding September 05th 7th Avenue Drop. There has been a rumour that Bob is out of the hospital and the guys might be playing to promote the new album. Let me say that there are no guarantees and not to quote me (unless I am correct and then quote to your heart’s delight).

Well let me say first off thank you dad for getting that one package with our cable provider so I could watch MTV Canada. Second, the performance was lovely and I really started squeeing when I was watching the opening sequence (and I hope it appears in the future DVD they release).
I honestly loved the song, most think it was too muted for a first release/debut, but if you listen to the words then you understand why they released it. Also, I do not know if it was really “Welcome to The Black Parade” and instead believe it was “Father” they performed (if based lyrically alone). Am I wrong? Only MCR and their management can tell me otherwise (until the new album is released), so if you are reading this and know the truth and are legit please feel free to comment here or email me, or send your legal team after me for creating this fansite. I swear to plead insanity and then ask for your autograph after the hearing and sentencing
